Objectives of the Cell :

• An SC/ST Committee’s primary role is to ensure the welfare, protection, and empowerment of Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students and employees within our institution.
• The committee acts as a platform for SC/ST students and employees to report and resolve academic, administrative, or personal issues.
• They disseminate information about relevant government schemes, scholarships, and policies to SC/ST students and staff.
• The committee collects data on SC/ST representation and performance in admissions, education, training, and employment.
• They provide guidance, counseling, and mentorship to SC/ST students and staff, helping them navigate academic, career, and personal challenges.
• The committee works towards creating a respectful and inclusive campus environment where SC/ST individuals feel safe and valued.
• They collaborate with other departments to implement policies like reservations and scholarships for SC/ST students.
• The committee may play a role in preventing and addressing atrocities against SC/ST members, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• The committee strives to ensure that all SC/ST students and employees have equal opportunities and access to resources and support, as outlined in the Constitution of India.
